There will be a fee for our residential mortgage service of £499 (£299 for remortgages) which is payable when you apply. For buy-to-let and let-to-buy our fees are £599 for purchases and £399 for remortgages. For ex-pat/overseas based applications our fee is £999 for purchases and remortgages. We will retain the commission from the lender. Some clients however now prefer to pay a fee for their mortgage advice and the lender commission is passed on to you, the client. The fee will be 0.75% of the loan amount. For example, for a mortgage of £100,000, a fee of £750 will be payable.
